The Residence Le Hameau de Planchamp is set at the bottom of Valmorel's slopes, and has 181 apartments. These are divided into low rise stone buildings dotted around the resort centre. Studios and apartments have simple decor, kitchen areas and balconies or terraces. Kitchens feature hotplates and refrigerators. Hair dryers and irons can be borrowed from reception.
There is plenty of outdoor and covered parking available for a fee. In summer, the resort offers a wide range of activities, such as glacier hiking, rock climbing, tennis, white water rafting and paragliding. There is a variety of children's activity clubs, and the residence has its own outdoor heated swimming pool. In winter, guests can enjoy excellent skiing facilities in the Grand Domaine area, with 160 kilometres of downhill runs (83 runs in total), a snowboarding area, and 20 kilometres of cross country skiing. There is direct access to the pistes from the residence on skis. The residence is 125 kilometres from Grenoble Saint Geoirs Airport. Please note:
On arrival day, room keys can only be collected after 5 PM. Please notify the residence directly if you will be arriving after the reception is closed. For short stays, keys can be picked up from 10 AM within reception opening hours, except for Saturday (after 2 PM).
Towels and television are not provided free of charge and can be hired locally.
Please note:
Apartments do not receive a daily cleaning/maid service. On departure, all apartments should be left clean and tidy. Alternatively, an end of stay cleaning service is provided by the residence which incurs a fee payable locally. Guests can also purchase cleaning kits from reception.
